I thoroughly enjoyed the course! Can't wait to read the Gospel of Matthew again-- now armed with the gems of information I learned from this course. Claire is a gifted lecturer. Her passion for the material and in communicating this to the audience is captivating. And the way she presents the spiritual lessons --succinct and insightful-- in each episode is excellent. I look forward to signing up for the courses on the Gospels of Mark, Luke and John!

The teaching covered a lot of material yet flowed easily from chapter to chapter even with some material being left out. I appreciated the way modern material was brought in to confirm Matthew's writings. Placing Matthew in the right part of history after the death and resurrection of Jesus made the understanding of Matthew's writings much clearer. I am looking forward to the next teaching from the Gospel of Mark.

It was extremely insightful and enlightening to see the way Matthew organized his Gospel. The organization presented provides a framework for more in-depth personal study.
